This Policy applies to all users of the Platform, including vehicle owners (“Customers”) and service professionals — whether mobile or fixed-location — (“Providers”). Please read this Policy carefully. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described herein. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Platform.
This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms and Conditions of Use.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you create an account, book a service, or communicate with us, we may collect:
- Full name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
- Account credentials, including username and encrypted password.
- Vehicle information, including make, model, year, VIN, and service history.
- Payment information, including credit or debit card details (processed securely through our third-party payment processor; Diocha does not store full card numbers).
- Profile information, including photos, biography, and service offerings (for Providers).
- Communications you send to us or to other users through the Platform.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Platform, we automatically collect certain technical and usage data, including:
- Device information, such as device type, operating system, browser type, and unique device identifiers.
- Log data, including IP address, access times, pages viewed, and referring URLs.
- Location data, including precise GPS location (with your permission) for mobile service scheduling and provider matching.
- Usage data, including booking history, search queries, feature interactions, and session duration.
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7 for more detail).
2.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from third parties, including:
- Social login providers (e.g., Google, Apple) if you choose to sign in using a third-party account.
- Payment processors for transaction verification and fraud prevention.
- Background check providers for Provider verification purposes.
- Analytics partners that help us understand Platform usage and performance.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
3.1 To Operate and Improve the Platform
- Create, manage, and authenticate your account.
- Facilitate bookings, scheduling, and payments between Customers and Providers.
- Power AI-driven features including service matching, weather-informed scheduling, and personalized recommendations.
- Send appointment confirmations, reminders, and service updates.
- Analyze usage patterns to improve Platform performance, features, and user experience.
3.2 To Communicate with You
- Respond to inquiries, support requests, and feedback.
- Send transactional notifications related to your bookings and account.
- Send promotional communications and platform updates, where you have opted in or where permitted by law. You may opt out at any time.
3.3 To Ensure Safety and Trust
- Verify Provider identities, credentials, and backgrounds.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent activity, abuse, and violations of our Terms and Conditions.
- Enforce our policies and protect the rights and safety of users and third parties.
3.4 To Comply with Legal Obligations
- Respond to lawful requests from government authorities or legal proceedings.
- Maintain records as required by applicable law.
- Exercise or defend legal claims.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
4.1 Between Customers and Providers
To facilitate a Booking, we share necessary information between the Customer and Provider involved in the transaction. This may include name, contact details, vehicle information, service location, and booking details. Fixed-location Providers will receive appointment details sufficient to prepare for your visit. Mobile Providers will also receive your service address for navigation purposes.
4.2 With Service Providers and Partners
We may share your information with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Platform, including payment processors, cloud hosting providers, customer support tools, analytics services, and background check providers. These parties are contractually obligated to protect your information and may only use it for the purposes for which it was shared.
4.3 For Legal and Safety Reasons
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any person, prevent fraud, or enforce our Terms and Conditions.
4.4 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or other business transfer, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on the Platform before your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with Platform services. We may also retain information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain business records. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

The Platform may request access to your device’s precise location to enable mobile service scheduling, Provider matching, and proximity-based search. Location data is collected only with your explicit permission and is used solely to facilitate Platform functionality.
You may disable location access at any time through your device settings. Disabling location access may limit the availability of certain features, particularly for mobile service bookings. Fixed-location bookings do not require continuous location access.
9. AI-Powered Features and Data Use
Diocha uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to power features such as service recommendations, weather-informed scheduling, and Provider matching. These features rely on usage data, booking history, and profile information to generate personalized outputs.
Data used to train or improve our AI systems is processed in anonymized or aggregated form wherever possible. We do not use your personal information to train third-party AI models. You may opt out of having your data used for AI personalization by contacting us at privacy@diocha.com, though this may limit the functionality of certain Platform features.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected information from a person under 18 without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 11. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include data encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments.

13.1 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (Diocha does not sell personal information), the right to correct inaccurate personal information, and the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information.

13.2 Virginia Residents (VCDPA)
